Hello there Yvette here. I hope you are all having a great summer so far. Today
I wanted to share with you a very simple and sweet card I created using
Beach Bum Lucky. Makes me want to go the beach now. LOL
I used the 6 x 6 paper stack "Showers" by Heidi Grace. Very cute paper. I also added
some chipboard from Me and My big ideas. A little mesh from my stash and there you
go. I hope you all like it and encourages you to go and have fun!!

Character Focus: Say Cheese Sophie
Hello sweet fans!
I'm so excited to bring to you today Junel's Character Focus post here on the blog.
We know how fun it is to see how different people use the same digital image, all in one place, so that is exactly what this is, and for this month the Design Team is showcasing Say Cheese Sophie. You can currently find her here in our shop.
This image is so fun! Lots of possibilities, specially with how popular cameras are now a days in all of paper crafting!

What inspires you? Everything inspires me...I see ideas in art, commercials, magazines...I love color inspiration palettes too!
Where are you from? I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and I now live in Hanover, PA
How long have you been crafting? I have been a scrapbooker since high school...then more true scrapbooking about 8 years ago. I got into card making about 3 years ago.
When do you do your best work? Under pressure of deadlines!
Do you find yourself creating during the day or are you a night owl? I find myself in my craft room late at night after everyone is in bed...even it I worked 12 hours that day!
Favorite coloring medium: Do you prefer Copic/Alcohol Markers, pencil crayons and Gamsol, watercolors, or other? I love my Copics!
What is your Favorite Sweet Nothings Stamp Co image and why? I love Beach Babe Sophie...I love her bikini and that flower in her hair! She is ready to have some fun!
Why do you craft? I find crafting to be a huge stress relief for me...I get lost in a peaceful place...like therapy! I also love the look on someone's face when you give them a hand-crafted card...it's like nothing else!

Birthday Card for a Sweet Little Girl using Cupcake Sophie
Aloha!
Today, I'm back with another Design Team Project for the Sweet Nothings Stamp Co. I made a card for my niece's birthday. I used Cupcake Sophie. She comes with the sentiment, "I'm Sweet on You!" How cute is that! I colored her up with my Copic markers. I added Glossy Accents to her hair clip, the heart on her shirt, and the cherry. I also added Stickles in Frosted Lace and Star Dust on the cupcake.
I used the adorable "My Favorite Things" paper collection from Recollections. I layered several of the designer papers and fussy cut a lot of images. I also accented many of the images with Glossy Accents and Stickles.
I added some pearl and acrylic embellishments from Wild Orchid Crafts as well as some vintage blue checkered trim and some halfback pearls. I used my atyou spica glitter pen to accent many of the images with a glittery sheen.
I adhered some more of the designer papers to the back where I will write my message to my sweet little niece.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
*hugs* and Much aloha~!
